libecm-dev software package provides Factor integers using the Elliptic Curve Method (library), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libecm-dev
libecm-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libecm-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libecm-dev *
You will get with libecm-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
